How It Works
- Registrations beyond capacity are assigned waitlist status.
- The engine ranks entries by configured policy.
- When a seat becomes available, candidate attendees are promoted.
- Promotion windows enforce claim deadlines.
- Expired claims trigger the next promotion.

- First-In-First-Out
- Priority tags (sponsors, cohorts, internal lists)
- Weighted hybrid strategy
Promotion Controls

Failure Handling
If a notification provider is degraded, EventSlot retries delivery and logs all attempts for manual fallback.
