How waitlist appears to attendees
Attendees are assigned waitlist status and queue position once capacity is full.
Organiser waitlist view
Organisers monitor waitlist pressure through event and dashboard surfaces, including waitlist counts and near-capacity indicators.
Promote by increasing capacity
Use capacity update controls to increase available slots. EventSlot auto-promotes in FIFO order.
Manual promotion support
Current primary promotion path is capacity-driven auto-promotion. Custom manual selection workflows can be layered but are not the main implemented route.
Communication templates and signals
EventSlot sends operational communications around promotion and status changes, with diagnostics logged for promotion email attempts.
