Attendee Guide
[!NOTE] Attendee registration in EventSlot is link-based. An attendee account is not required for standard event registration.
Find and register for an event
- Open the event link shared by organiser.
- Fill required registration questions.
- Submit registration.
After registration
If confirmed immediately, you receive confirmation response and follow-up communication flow.
If event is full
When capacity is full, your registration is still accepted but saved with waitlist status.
Check waitlist position
Waitlist position is attached to your registration record and shown through status views tied to your registration link/context.
Cancel registration
Cancellation can be handled from attendee registration management surfaces where enabled or by organiser actions on your registration record.
What promotion looks like
When a slot opens through capacity increase, promoted attendees receive slot-confirmed communication and status update from waitlist to confirmed.
Expected user-visible signs:
- updated registration status
- email confirmation when email is available
- organiser-side attendee list update
